Aldryth Ockenga’s still lifes, landscapes, and portraits hang in many private homes as well as in the offices of numerous prominent institutions and corporations. Educated at Wellesley College, Massachusetts College of Art, Boston University, and the University of North Carolina, she displays a grounding in the traditions of European and American painting while at the same time forging her own distinctive and meditative style.
